Narrator:Abu Hurayrah

وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْمَكِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ كَيْسَانَ - عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ

لَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ لاَ يَدْرِي الْقَاتِلُ فِي أَىِّ شَىْءٍ قَتَلَ وَلاَ يَدْرِي الْمَقْتُولُ عَلَى أَىِّ شَىْءٍ قُتِلَ ‏"

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: ''By Him in Whose hand is my soul, a time would come upon the people when the killer would not know why he killed and the victim would not know why he was killed.''

Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) swears by Allah that there will come a time when murder would be so widespread that the killer would not know the reason he killed and the killed would not know the reason he was killed for.

Explanation in Arabic

يحلف النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالله الذي يملك نفسه صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه سيأتي على الناس زمانٌ لا يدري القاتلُ لماذا قَتَل، ولا يدري المقتولُ لماذا قُتِل، وذلك لكثرة القتل.

  • في هذا الحديث من الفقه أن هذا القاتل والمقتول يكونان في زمان ليس فيه إمام يُعرف به الحق من الباطل.
  • من علامات الساعة كثرة القتل.
  • الحديث علامة من علامات النبوة؛ إذ أخبر عن شيء فوقع كما أخبر.
  • إثبات صفة اليد لله -تعالى- على ما يليق به -سبحانه-.

قَوْله : ( حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَان عَنْ يَزِيد , وَهُوَ اِبْن كَيْسَانَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِم عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة حَدِيث لَا يَدْرِي الْقَاتِل فِي أَيّ شَيْء قَتَلَ ) وَفِي الرِّوَايَة : ( حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّد بْن فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيل الْأَسْلَمِيّ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِم ) , ثُمَّ قَالَ مُسْلِم : وَفِي رِوَايَة أَبَان قَالَ : هُوَ يَزِيد بْن كَيْسَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيل لَمْ يَذْكُر الْأَسْلَمِيّ. هَكَذَا هُوَ فِي النُّسَخ , وَيَزِيد بْن كَيْسَانَ هُوَ أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيل , وَفِي الْكَلَام تَقْدِيم وَتَأْخِير , وَمُرَاده وَفِي رِوَايَة اِبْن أَبَان قَالَ : عَنْ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيل هُوَ يَزِيد اِبْن كَيْسَانَ , وَظَاهِر اللَّفْظ يُوهِم أَنَّ يَزِيد بْن كَيْسَانَ يَرْوِيه عَنْ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيل…
