Authentic hadith of Sahih Muslim Sahih Muslim 2620

Narrator:Abu Hurayrah

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الأَزْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ الأَغَرِّ، أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، وَأَبِي، هُرَيْرَةَ قَالاَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏

الْعِزُّ إِزَارُهُ وَالْكِبْرِيَاءُ رِدَاؤُهُ فَمَنْ يُنَازِعُنِي عَذَّبْتُهُ ‏"

Abu Sa'id Khudri and Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: Glory is His lower garment and Majesty is His cloak and (Allah says, ) He who contends with Me in regard to them I shall torment him.

Reported by Muslim (No. 2620).

" 6111 " قَوْله صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ( رُبَّ أَشْعَث مَدْفُوع بِالْأَبْوَابِ لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللَّه لَأَبَرَّهُ ) ( الْأَشْعَث ) الْمُلَبَّد الشَّعْر الْمُغَبَّر غَيْر مَدْهُون وَلَا مُرَجَّل وَ ( مَدْفُوع بِالْأَبْوَابِ ) أَيْ لَا قَدْر لَهُ عِنْد النَّاس فَهُمْ يَدْفَعُونَهُ عَنْ أَبْوَابهمْ , وَيَطْرُدُونَهُ عَنْهُمْ اِحْتِقَارًا لَهُ , ( لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللَّه لَأَبَرَّهُ ) أَيْ حَلِف عَلَى وُقُوع شَيْء أَوْقَعَهُ اللَّه إِكْرَامًا لَهُ بِإِجَابَةِ سُؤَاله , وَصِيَانَته مِنْ الْحِنْث فِي يَمِينه , وَهَذَا لِعِظَمِ مَنْزِلَته عِنْد اللَّه تَعَالَى , وَإِنْ كَانَ حَقِيرًا عِنْد النَّاس. وَقِيلَ : مَعْنَى الْقَسَم هُنَا الدُّعَاء , وَإِبْرَاره إِجَابَته. وَاَللَّه أَعْ…
