حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَابْنُ، نُمَيْرٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ - عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ

خَدَمْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم تِسْعَ سِنِينَ فَمَا أَعْلَمُهُ قَالَ لِي قَطُّ لِمَ فَعَلْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَلاَ عَابَ عَلَىَّ شَيْئًا قَطُّ ‏.‏

Anas reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

I served the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for nine years, and I do not know (of any instance) when he said to me: Why you have done this and that, and he never found fault with me in anything.

An-Nawawi — Sharh Sahih Muslim

قَوْله : ( تِسْع سِنِينَ ) , وَفِي أَكْثَر الرِّوَايَات ( عَشْر سِنِينَ ) فَمَعْنَاهُ أَنَّهَا تِسْع سِنِينَ وَأَشْهُر ; فَإِنَّ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقَامَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْر سِنِينَ تَحْدِيدًا لَا تَزِيدُ وَلَا تَنْقُصُ , وَخَدَمَهُ أَنَس فِي أَثْنَاء السَّنَة الْأُولَى. فَفِي رِوَايَة التِّسْع لَمْ يَحْسِبْ الْكَسْرَ , بَلْ اِعْتَبَرَ السِّنِينَ الْكَوَامِل , وَفِي رِوَايَة الْعَشْر حَسَبَهَا سَنَة كَامِلَة , وَكِلَاهُمَا صَحِيح. وَفِي هَذَا الْحَدِيث بَيَان كَمَالِ خُلُقه صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَحُسْن عِشْرَته وَحِلْمه وَصَفْحه.…
