Narrator: Anas ibn Mālik
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ حَفْصٍ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم

قَوْل أَنَس - رَضِيَ اللَّه عَنْهُ - ( رَأَيْت رَسُول اللَّه صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُقْعِيًا يَأْكُل تَمْرًا ) وَفِي رِوَايَة : ( أَكْلًا حَثِيثًا ). قَوْله : ( مُقْعِيًا ) أَيْ جَالِسًا عَلَى أَلْيَتَيْهِ نَاصِبًا سَاقَيْهِ ( وَمُحْتَفِز ) هُوَ بِالزَّايِ أَيْ مُسْتَعْجِل مُسْتَوْفِز غَيْر مُتَمَكِّن فِي جُلُوسه , وَهُوَ بِمَعْنَى قَوْله : ( مُقْعِيًا ) وَهُوَ أَيْضًا مَعْنَى قَوْله صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْحَدِيث الْآخَر فِي صَحِيح الْبُخَارِيّ وَغَيْره " لَا آكُل مُتَّكِئًا " عَلَى مَا فَسَّرَهُ الْإِمَام الْخَطَّابِيُّ فَإِنَّهُ قَالَ : الْمُتَّكِئ فِي جُلُوسه مِنْ التَّرَبُّع , وَشَبَهه الْمُعْتَمِد عَلَى الْوِطَاء تَحْته , قَالَ : وَكُلّ مَنْ اِسْتَوَى قَاعِدً…

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) eating some dates while sitting on his buttocks with his knees bent upwards.
وعن أنس رضى الله عنه قال: رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم جالساً مقعياً يأكل تمراً. ((رواه مسلم))
