It is reported on the authority of Ibn Umar that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade (the preparation of Nabidh in) a green pitcher (besmeared with pitch) and gourd and varnished jar.
Reported by Muslim (No. 1998b, 1997h, 1997l) and Ahmad (No. 4788, 5315).
