Authentic hadith of Sahih Muslim Muttafaq ‘alayh (Bukhari and Muslim) Sahih Muslim 1814b

Narrator:Buraydah

وَحَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ كَهْمَسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ

غَزَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً ‏.‏

It has been narrated by Buraida who heard it from his father that he joined the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in sixteen military campaigns

Reported by Muslim (No. 1814b), Al-Bukhari (No. 4473) and Ahmad (No. 21875, 21876).

The Prophet (ﷺ) fought nineteen Ghazwas and performed only one Hajj after he migrated (to Medina), and did not perform another Hajj after it, and that was Hajj-ul-Wada`,' Abu 'Is-haq said, "He performed when he was in Mecca."

It has been narrated on the authority of Buraida (who heard the tradition from his father) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) conducted nineteen military campaigns and he (actually) fought in eight of them.

غَزَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً قَاتَلَ فِي ثَمَانٍ مِنْهُنَّ ‏.‏ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مِنْهُنَّ ‏.‏
