Authentic hadith of Sahih Muslim Sahih Muslim 151e

Narrator:Abu Hurayrah

وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏

يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لِلُوطٍ إِنَّهُ أَوَى إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ ‏"

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira through another chain of transmitters but with a slight variation of wording.

Reported by Muslim (No. 151e) and Ahmad (No. 7930).
