We used to pray and animals would pass in front of us. ‏"‏ مِثْلُ مُؤْخِرَةِ الرَّحْلِ تَكُونُ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ أَحَدِكُمْ ثُمَّ لاَ يَضُرُّهُ مَا مَرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ‏"

Narrated by Talhah ibn ‘Ubaydullah Explained

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was asked in the expedition of Tabuk about the Sutra of the person who is offering the prayer; he said , "It is (something) like the back of a saddle." [Reported by Muslim].

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ ‏- رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا‏- قَالَتْ : { سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-‏- فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ ‏- عَنْ سُتْرَةِ اَلْمُصَلِّي .‏ فَقَالَ : "مِثْلُ مُؤْخِرَةِ اَلرَّحْلِ } أَخْرَجَهُ…

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When one of you places in front of him so me. thing such as the back of a saddle, he should pray without caring who passes on the other side of it.

إِذَا وَضَعَ أَحَدُكُمْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِثْلَ مُؤْخِرَةِ الرَّحْلِ فَلْيُصَلِّ وَلاَ يُبَالِ مَنْ مَرَّ وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ ‏"

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was asked in the expedition of Tabuk about the sutra the worshipper; he said: Like the back of the saddle.

Narrated by Ā’ishah

When you place in front of you something such as the back of a saddle, then there is no harm if someone passes in front of you (i.e. the other side of it).

إِذَا جَعَلْتَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ مِثْلَ مُؤَخَّرَةِ الرَّحْلِ فَلاَ يَضُرُّكَ مَنْ مَرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ ‏"
