لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بَنَيْتُ بَيْتًا يُكِنُّنِي مِنَ الْمَطَرِ وَيُكِنُّنِي مِنَ الشَّمْسِ مَا أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ خَلْقُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى .
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:
“I had built a house to shelter me from the rain and the sun, during the time of Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ), and no creature of Allah helped me in building it.”
Reported by Ibn Majah (No. 4162) and Al-Bukhari (No. 6302).
