Chapter: Spreading (the Greeting of) Peace

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، قَالَ أَمَرَنَا نَبِيُّنَا ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم
ـ أَنْ نُفْشِيَ السَّلاَمَ .
It was narrated that Abu Umamah said:
"Our Prophet(ﷺ) commanded us to spread (the greeting of) peace."
Reported by Ibn Majah (No. 3693).
