Chapter: What was narrated concerning reciting Qunut before Ruku’ or afterwards
Narrator:Anas ibn Mālik
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْقُنُوتِ، فِي صَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ فَقَالَ
كُنَّا نَقْنُتُ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ وَبَعْدَهُ .
It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:
He was asked about Qunut in the Subh prayer, and he said: “We used to recite Qunut before Ruku’ and afterwards.”
Reported by Ibn Majah (No. 1183).
