أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكْثَرَ حَدِيثًا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنِّي إِلَّا مَا كَانَ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْتُبُ وَلَا أَكْتُبُ

There is none among the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) who has narrated more Hadiths than I except `Abdullah bin `Amr (bin Al-`As) who used to write them and I never did the same.

مَا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَحَدٌ أَكْثَرَ حَدِيثًا عَنْهُ مِنِّي، إِلاَّ مَا كَانَ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْتُبُ وَلاَ أَكْتُبُ‏.‏

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

Authentic Jami' at-Tirmidhi 2668

that the heard Abu Hurairah say: "None of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) narrated more Ahadith from him than me, except 'Abdullah bin 'Amr. For he used to write them down and I did not write."

لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَكْثَرَ حَدِيثًا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنِّي إِلاَّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْتُبُ وَكُنْتُ لاَ أَكْتُبُ ‏.‏

Authentic Jami' at-Tirmidhi 3841

"There is none with more Ahadith from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) than I, except for 'Abdullah bin 'Amr, for he used to write, (the Ahadith) and I did not used to write."

لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ أَكْثَرَ حَدِيثًا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنِّي إِلاَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْتُبُ وَكُنْتُ لاَ أَكْتُبُ ‏
