حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ

إِذَا أَرَادَ عَبْدِي أَنْ يَعْمَلَ سَيِّئَةً فَلاَ تَكْتُبُوهَا عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَعْمَلَهَا، فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا بِمِثْلِهَا وَإِنْ تَرَكَهَا مِنْ أَجْلِي فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْمَلَ حَسَنَةً فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً، فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَى سَبْعِمِائَةٍ ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Allah says, 'If My slave intends to do a bad deed then (O Angels) do not write it unless he does it; if he does it, then write it as it is, but if he refrains from doing it for My Sake, then write it as a good deed (in his account). (On the other hand) if he intends to do a good deed, but does not do it, then write a good deed (in his account), and if he does it, then write it for him (in his account) as ten good deeds up to seven-hundred times.' "

Explanation in Arabic

إذا أراد العبد أن يعمل سيئة ونوى أن يفعلها، فإن الله عز وجل يأمر بعدم كتابتها عليه سيئة حتى يعملها، فإذا عملها تُكتب له سيئة واحدة، وأما إذا تركها ابتغاء وجه الله تعالى خوفا منه أو حياءً، لا عجزًا عن فعلها، أو تشاغلًا عنها، أو لأي سبب آخر؛ بل تركها لله سبحانه فتُكتب له حسنة، وهذا من عظيم فضله ورحمته سبحانه على عباده، وإذا أراد أن يعمل حسنة ونوى عملها ثم لم يعملها تُكتب له حسنة، وإذا نواها وعملها تُكتب له عشرة أضعاف إلى سبعمائة ضعف، فيضاعفها الله برحمته وفضله.

  • إثبات كتابة الله تعالى الحسنات والسيئات، ثم بيانه ذلك لعباده حتى يعلموا ذلك، ويكونوا على بصيرة من أمرهم، فيمتثلوا أمره ويجتنبوا نهيه على هدى من ربّهم.
  • بيانُ فضل الله تعالى العظيم على هذه الأمة؛ لأنه لولا ذلك كاد لا يدخل أحد الجنة؛ لأن عمل العباد للسيئات أكثر من عملهم للحسنات.
  • بيان الفضل الذي يترتب للعبد على هِجران لذته، وترك شهوته من أجل ربه عز وجل رغبةً في ثوابه، ورهبةً من عقابه.
  • بيان أن الله سبحانه وتعالى بفضله وكرمه جعل العدل في السيئة، والفضل في الحسنة، فضاعف الحسنة، ولم يضاعف السيئة.

قَوْله ( يَقُول اللَّه تَعَالَى : إِذَا أَرَادَ عَبْدِي أَنْ يَعْمَل سَيِّئَة فَلَا تَكْتُبُوهَا عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَعْمَلهَا ) تَقَدَّمَ شَرْحه فِي الرِّقَاق فِي بَاب " مَنْ هَمَّ بِحَسَنَةٍ أَوْ سَيِّئَة " وَهُوَ مِنْ الْأَحَادِيث الْقُدْسِيَّة أَيْضًا , وَكَذَا الْأَرْبَعَة بَعْده , وَمُنَاسَبَته لِلْبَابِ ظَاهِرَة أَيْضًا , وَقَوْله " فَإِذَا عَمِلَهَا " فِي رِوَايَة الْكُشْمِيهَنِيِّ " فَإِنْ " وَقَوْله فِي آخِره " إِلَى سَبْعمِائَة " زَادَ فِي رِوَايَة أَبِي ذَرّ عَنْ السَّرَخْسِيّ " ضِعْف " وَهِيَ ثَابِتَة لِلْجَمِيعِ فِي آخِر حَدِيث اِبْن عَبَّاس فِي الرِّقَاق , وَاسْتَدَلَّ بِمَفْهُومِ الْغَايَة فِي قَوْله " فَلَا تَكْتُبُوهَا حَتَّى يَعْمَلهَا " وَبِمَفْهُومِ الشَّرْط فِي قَوْله " فَ…
