Narrator:Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏

لاَ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ، وَمَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلْيَحْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ ‏"

Narrated Ibn `Umar:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not swear by your fathers; and whoever wants to swear should swear by Allah."

حَدِيث اِبْن عُمَر " لَا تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ " تَقَدَّمَ شَرْحه فِي الْأَيْمَان وَالنُّذُور , قَالَ نُعَيْم بْن حَمَّاد فِي الرَّدّ عَلَى الْجَهْمِيَّةِ : دَلَّتْ هَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيث يَعْنِي الْوَارِدَة فِي الِاسْتِعَاذَة بِأَسْمَاءِ اللَّه وَكَلِمَاته , وَالسُّؤَال بِهَا مِثْل أَحَادِيث الْبَاب , وَحَدِيث عَائِشَة , وَأَبِي سَعِيد " بِسْمِ اللَّه أَرْقِيك " وَكِلَاهُمَا عِنْد مُسْلِم , وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عُبَادَةَ وَمَيْمُونَة وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَة وَغَيْرهمْ عِنْد النَّسَائِيِّ وَغَيْره بِأَسَانِيد جِيَاد , عَلَى أَنَّ الْقُرْآن غَيْر مَخْلُوق إِذْ لَوْ كَانَ مَخْلُوقًا لَمْ يَسْتَعِذْ بِهَا إِذْ لَا يُسْتَعَاذ بِمَخْلُوقٍ , قَالَ اللَّه تَعَالَى ( فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاَللَّهِ ) وَقَالَ النَّبِي…
