Narrator:Abu Mas‘ūd al-Badrī

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ فِي الدَّجَّالِ ‏"‏

إِنَّ مَعَهُ مَاءً وَنَارًا، فَنَارُهُ مَاءٌ بَارِدٌ، وَمَاؤُهُ نَارٌ ‏"

Narrated Hudhaifa:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said about Ad-Dajjal that he would have water and fire with him: (what would seem to be) fire, would be cold water and (what would seem to be) water, would be fire.

Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani — Fath al-Bari

قَوْله ( أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي ) هُوَ عُثْمَان بْن جَبَلَةَ بِفَتْحِ الْجِيم وَالْمُوَحَّدَة اِبْن أَبِي رَوَّادٍ بِفَتْحِ الرَّاء وَتَشْدِيد الْوَاو. قَوْله ( عَنْ عَبْد الْمَلِك ) هُوَ اِبْن عُمَيْر , وَنُسِبَ عِنْد مُسْلِم فِي رِوَايَة مُحَمَّد بْن جَعْفَر عَنْ شُعْبَة فَقَالَ " عَنْ عَبْد الْمَلِك بْن عُمَيْر ". قَوْله ( رِبْعِيّ ) بِكَسْرِ الرَّاء وَسُكُون الْمُوَحَّدَة وَكَسْر الْعَيْن الْمُهْمَلَة اِسْم بِلَفْظِ النَّسَب , وَهُوَ اِبْن حِرَاش بِمُهْمَلَةٍ وَآخِره مُعْجَمَة , وَحُذَيْفَة هُوَ اِبْن الْيَمَان. قَوْله ( عَنْ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي الدَّجَّال إِنَّ مَعَهُ ) كَذَا ذَكَرَهُ شُعْبَة مُخْتَصَرًا , وَتَقَدَّمَ فِي أَوَّل ذِكْر بَنِي إِسْرَائِيل مِنْ ط…
