Narrator:Anas ibn Mālik

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ،، أَنَّ

رَجُلاً، اطَّلَعَ فِي بَيْتِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَدَّدَ إِلَيْهِ مِشْقَصًا‏.‏

Narrated Yahya:

Humaid said, "A man peeped into the house of the Prophet (ﷺ) and the Prophet (ﷺ) aimed an arrow head at him to hit him." I asked, "Who told you that?" He said, "Anas bin Malik" (See Hadith No. 258 and 259, Vol. 8)

Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani — Fath al-Bari

قَوْله ( يَحْيَى ) هُوَ الْقَطَّان وَحُمَيْدٌ هُوَ الطَّوِيل. قَوْله ( أَنَّ رَجُلًا ) هَذَا ظَاهِره الْإِرْسَال لِأَنَّ حُمَيْدًا لَمْ يُدْرِكْ الْقِصَّة , لَكِنْ بَيَّنَ فِي آخِر الْحَدِيث أَنَّهُ مَوْصُول. وَسَيَأْتِي بَعْد سَبْعَة أَبْوَاب مِنْ وَجْه آخَر عَنْ أَنَس وَيَذْكُر فِيهِ مَا قِيلَ فِي تَسْمِيَة الرَّجُل الْمَذْكُور. قَوْله ( فَسَدَّدَ إِلَيْهِ ) بِدَالَيْنِ مُهْمَلَتَيْنِ الْأُولَى ثَقِيلَة قَبْلهَا سِين مُهْمَلَة أَيْ صَوَّبَ وَزْنه وَمَعْنَاهُ , وَالتَّصْوِيب تَوْجِيه السَّهْم إِلَى مَرْمَاهُ وَكَذَلِكَ التَّسْدِيد وَمِنْهُ الْبَيْت الْمَشْهُور : أُعَلِّمُهُ الرِّمَايَةَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ فَلَمَّا اشْتَدَّ سَاعِدُهُ رَمَانِي وَقَدْ حُكِيَ فِيهِ الْإِعْجَام وَيَتَرَجَّح كَوْنُهُ ب…
