Narrator:Abu Mūsa al-Ash‘ari

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ بُرَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ أَرْسَلَنِي أَصْحَابِي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَسْأَلُهُ الْحُمْلاَنَ فَقَالَ ‏"‏

وَاللَّهِ لاَ أَحْمِلُكُمْ عَلَى شَىْءٍ ‏"‏‏.‏ وَوَافَقْتُهُ وَهْوَ غَضْبَانُ فَلَمَّا أَتَيْتُهُ قَالَ ‏"‏ انْطَلِقْ إِلَى أَصْحَابِكَ فَقُلْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ ـ أَوْ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَحْمِلُكُمْ ‏"

Narrated Abu Musa:

My companions sent me to the Prophet (ﷺ) to ask him for some mounts. He said, "By Allah! I will not mount you on anything!" When I met him, he was in an angry mood, but when I met him (again), he said, "Tell your companions that Allah or Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) will provide you with mounts."

حَدِيث أَبِي مُوسَى فِي قِصَّة طَلَبِهِمْ الْحُمْلَان فِي غَزْوَة تَبُوك , اِقْتَصَرَ مِنْهُ عَلَى بَعْضه , وَفِيهِ " فَقَالَ لَا أَحْمِلُكُمْ " وَقَدْ سَاقَهُ تَامًّا فِي غَزْوَة تَبُوك بِالسَّنَدِ الْمَذْكُور هُنَا وَفِيهِ " فَقَالَ : وَاَللَّهِ لَا أَحْمِلُكُمْ " وَهُوَ الْمُوَافِق لِلتَّرْجَمَةِ , وَأَشَارَ بِقَوْلِهِ " فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِك " إِلَى مَا وَقَعَ فِي بَعْض طُرُقِهِ كَمَا سَيَأْتِي فِي " بَاب الْكَفَّارَة قَبْل الْحِنْث " فَقَالَ " وَاَللَّهِ لَا أَحْمِلُكُمْ وَمَا عِنْدِي مَا أَحْمِلُكُمْ " وَقَدْ أَحَلْت بِشَرْحِ الْحَدِيث عَلَى الْبَاب الْمَذْكُور , قَالَ اِبْن الْمُنِير : فَهِمَ اِبْن بَطَّال عَنْ الْبُخَارِيّ أَنَّهُ نَحَا بِهَذِهِ التَّرْجَمَة لِجِهَةِ تَعْلِيق الطَّلَاق…
