Narrator:Imrān ibn Husayn

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ الرِّشْكُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُطَرِّفَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُعْرَفُ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ قَالَ ‏"‏ نَعَمْ ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالَ

فَلِمَ يَعْمَلُ الْعَامِلُونَ قَالَ ‏"‏كُلٌّ يَعْمَلُ لِمَا خُلِقَ لَهُ ـ أَوْ لِمَا يُسِّرَ لَهُ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Narrated `Imran bin Husain:

A man said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Can the people of Paradise be known (differentiated) from the people of the Fire; The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "Yes." The man said, "Why do people (try to) do (good) deeds?" The Prophet said, "Everyone will do the deeds for which he has been created to do or he will do those deeds which will be made easy for him to do." (i.e. everybody will find easy to do such deeds as will lead him to his destined place for which he has been created).

Explanation in Arabic

قال رجل: يا رسول الله أيُعرف أهل الجنة مِن أهل النار؟ أي: هل مُيِّز وحُدِّد من الذي يدخل الجنة ومن الذي يدخل النار في قضاء الله وقدره؟ فأجابه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: (نعم)، فقال: فلم يعمل العاملون؟ أي: لماذا يعمل العاملون وقد سبق القلم بذلك؟ فلا يحتاج العامل إلى العمل لأنه سيصير إلى ما قدر له، فقال رسول الله عليه الصلاة والسلام: كل أحد يعمل للذي خُلِق له وللذي ييسره الله له، والمعنى أن العبد لا يدري ما أمره في المآل؛ لأنه يعمل ما سبق في علمه تعالى، فعليه أن يجتهد في عمل ما أمر به، فإن عمله إمارة إلى ما يؤول إليه أمره.

  • عدم الاحتجاج بالقدر في ترك الأعمال.
  • الاجتهاد في العمل لأن العبد لا يدري على ماذا تكون خاتمته.

قَوْله ( حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ الرِّشْك ) بِكَسْرِ الرَّاء وَسُكُون الْمُعْجَمَة بَعْدهَا كَاف كُنْيَته أَبُو الْأَزْهَر , وَحَكَى الْكَلَابَاذِيّ أَنَّ اِسْم وَالِده سِنَان بِكَسْرِ الْمُهْمَلَة وَنُونَيْنِ , وَهُوَ بَصْرِيٌّ تَابِعِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ , قِيلَ كَانَ كَبِير اللِّحْيَة فَلُقِّبَ الرِّشْك وَهُوَ بِالْفَارِسِيَّةِ كَمَا زَعَمَ أَبُو عَلَى الْغَسَّانِيُّ وَجَزَمَ بِهِ اِبْن الْجَوْزِيّ الْكَبِير اللِّحْيَة , وَقَالَ أَبُو حَاتِم الرَّازِيُّ : كَانَ غَيُورًا فَقِيلَ لَهُ إرشك بِالْفَارِسِيَّةِ فَمَضَى عَلَيْهِ الرِّشْك , وَقَالَ الْكَرْمَانِيُّ بَلْ الرِّشْك بِالْفَارِسِيَّةِ الْقَمْل الصَّغِير الْمُلْتَصِق , بِأُصُولِ شَعْر اللِّحْيَة , وَذَكَرَ الْكَلَابَاذِيّ أَنَّ الرِّشْك الْقَسَّام. قُ…
