Narrator:Ā’ishah

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ

إِذَا أَخَذَ مَضْجَعَهُ نَفَثَ فِي يَدَيْهِ، وَقَرَأَ بِالْمُعَوِّذَاتِ، وَمَسَحَ بِهِمَا جَسَدَهُ‏.‏

Narrated `Aisha:

Whenever Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went to bed, he used to blow on his hands while reciting the Mu'auwidhat ( i.e. Suratal-Falaq 113 and Surat-an-Nas 114) and then pass his hands over his body.

حَدِيث عَائِشَة فِي قِرَاءَة الْمُعَوِّذَات , وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ شَرْحه فِي كِتَاب الطِّبّ , وَبَيَّنْت اِخْتِلَاف الرُّوَاة فِي أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُول ذَلِكَ دَائِمًا أَوْ بِقَيْدِ الشَّكْوَى , وَأَنَّهُ ثَبَتَ عَنْ عَائِشَة أَنَّهُ يُفِيد الْأَمْرَيْنِ مَعًا لِمَا فِي رِوَايَة عُقَيْل عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ بِلَفْظِ " كَانَ إِذَا أَوَى إِلَى فِرَاشه كُلّ لَيْلَة " وَبَيَّنْت فِيهِ أَنَّ الْمُرَاد بِالْمُعَوِّذَاتِ الْإِخْلَاص وَالْفَلَق وَالنَّاس , وَأَنَّ ذَلِكَ وَقَعَ صَرِيحًا فِي رِوَايَة عُقَيْل الْمَذْكُورَة وَأَنَّهَا تُعَيِّن أَحَد الِاحْتِمَالَات الْمَاضِي ذِكْرهَا ثَمَّةَ , وَفِيهَا كَيْفِيَّة مَسْح جَسَده بِيَدَيْهِ , وَقَدْ وَرَدَ فِي الْقِرَاءَة عِنْد النَّوْم عِدَّة أَحَادِيث صَحِيحَة…
