Narrator:Ibn ‘Abbās

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ زَرِيرٍ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا رَجَاءٍ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لاِبْنِ صَائِدٍ ‏"‏

قَدْ خَبَأْتُ لَكَ خَبِيئًا فَمَا هُوَ ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالَ الدُّخُّ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ اخْسَأْ ‏"

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to Ibn Saiyad "I have hidden something for you in my mind; What is it?" He said, "Ad-Dukh." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Ikhsa."

حَدِيث اِبْن عَبَّاس قَالَ " قَالَ رَسُول اللَّه صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِابْنِ صَيَّاد : قَدْ خَبَّأْت لَك خَبِيئًا , قَالَ : فَمَا هُوَ ؟ قَالَ : الدُّخّ. قَالَ : اِخْسَأْ " وَأَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ رِوَايَة عَبْد اللَّه بْن عُمَر قَالَ " اِنْطَلَقَ عُمَر مَعَ رَسُول اللَّه صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَهْط مِنْ أَصْحَابه قِبَل اِبْن صَيَّاد " فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيث مُطَوَّلًا وَفِيهِ " اِخْسَأْ فَلَنْ تَعْدُو قَدْرك " وَقَدْ سَبَقَ مُطَوَّلًا فِي أَوَاخِر كِتَاب الْجَنَائِز. وَقَوْله فِي هَذِهِ الرِّوَايَة " فَرَضَّهُ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " قَالَ الْخَطَّابِيُّ : وَقَعَ هُنَا بِالضَّادِ الْمُعْجَمَة وَهُوَ غَلَط وَالصَّوَاب بِالصَّادِ أَيْ الْمُهْمَلَة أَيْ ق…
