Narrator:Ibn ‘Abbās

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ

نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الشُّرْبِ مِنْ فِي السِّقَاءِ‏.‏

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:

The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade the drinking of water direct from the mouth of a water-skin.

Reported by Al-Bukhari (No. 5629).

Abu Sa‘īd al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade turning the waterskins upside down and drinking from their mouths.

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ اخْتِنَاثِ الأَسْقِيَةِ‏.‏ يَعْنِي
