حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الظُّرُوفِ فَقَالَتِ الأَنْصَارُ إِنَّهُ لاَ بُدَّ لَنَا مِنْهَا‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ فَلاَ إِذًا ‏"

Narrated Jabir:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade the use of (certain) containers, but the Ansar said, "We cannot dispense with them." The Prophet (ﷺ) then said, "If so, then use them."

Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani — Fath al-Bari

" 8360 " قَوْله : ( سُفْيَان ) هُوَ الثَّوْرِيّ , وَمَنْصُور هُوَ اِبْن الْمُعْتَمِرِ. قَوْله : ( عَنْ سَالِم ) وَقَعَ مُفَسَّرًا فِي الطَّرِيق الَّتِي بَعْدهَا أَنَّهُ اِبْن أَبِي الْجَعْد. وَالظُّرُوف بِظَاءٍ مُشَالَة مُعْجَمَة جَمْع ظَرْف بِفَتْحِ أَوَّله وَهُوَ الْوِعَاء. قَوْله : ( نَهَى رَسُول اللَّه صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الظُّرُوف ) فِي رِوَايَة مُسْلِم مِنْ طَرِيق أَبِي الزُّبَيْر عَنْ جَابِر " نَهَى عَنْ الدُّبَّاء وَالْمُزَفَّت " وَكَأَنَّ هَذِهِ الطَّرِيق لَمَّا لَمْ تَكُنْ عَلَى شَرْط الْبُخَارِيّ أَوْرَدَ عَقِب حَدِيث جَابِر أَحَادِيث عَبْد اللَّه بْن عَمْرو وَعَلِيّ وَعَائِشَة الدَّالَّة عَلَى ذَلِكَ. قَوْله : ( لَا بُدّ لَنَا مِنْهَا ) فِي رِوَايَة الْحَفْرِيّ…

Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade (the preparation) of Nabidh in green pitcher, in varnished jar, in hollow stump, and when Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) did not find anything to prepare Nabidh in that (i. e. waterskin), it was prepared for him in a big bowl made of stone.

Yahya related to me from Malik from al-Ala ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Yaqub from his father from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade preparing nabidh in a gourd or in a jug smeared with pitch.

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى أَنْ يُنْبَذَ فِي الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ ‏.‏
