Narrator:Anas ibn Mālik

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم

انْكَفَأَ إِلَى كَبْشَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ فَذَبَحَهُمَا بِيَدِهِ

Narrated Anas:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came towards two horned rams having black and white colors and slaughtered them with his own hands.

قَوْله فِي رِوَايَة أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ( إِلَى كَبْشَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ فَذَبَحَهُمَا بِيَدِهِ ) الْأَمْلَح بِالْمُهْمَلَةِ هُوَ الَّذِي فِيهِ سَوَاد وَبَيَاض وَالْبَيَاض أَكْثَر , وَيُقَال هُوَ الْأَغْبَر وَهُوَ قَوْل الْأَصْمَعِيّ , وَزَادَ الْخَطَّابِيُّ : هُوَ الْأَبْيَض الَّذِي فِي خَلَل صُوفه طَبَقَات سُود , وَيُقَال الْأَبْيَض الْخَالِص قَالَهُ اِبْن الْأَعْرَابِيّ , وَبِهِ تَمَسَّكَ الشَّافِعِيَّة فِي تَفْضِيل الْأَبْيَض فِي الْأُضْحِيَّة , وَقِيلَ الَّذِي يَعْلُوهُ حُمُرَة , وَقِيلَ الَّذِي يَنْظُر فِي سَوَاد وَيَمْشِي فِي سَوَاد وَيَأْكُل فِي سَوَاد وَيَبْرَك فِي سَوَاد , أَيْ أَنَّ مَوَاضِع هَذِهِ مِنْهُ سُود وَمَا عَدَا ذَلِكَ أَبْيَض , وَحَكَى ذَلِكَ الْمَاوَرْدِيّ عَنْ…

Abu Said said God’s Messenger used to sacrifice a choice, horned ram with black round the eyes, the mouth and the feet. Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Nasa’i and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

The Prophet (ﷺ) slaughtered two rams, black and white in color (as sacrifices), and I saw him putting his foot on their sides and mentioning Allah's Name and Takbir (Allahu Akbar). Then he slaughtered them with his own hands.

ضَحَّى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِكَبْشَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ وَاضِعًا قَدَمَهُ عَلَى صِفَاحِهِمَا يُسَمِّي وَيُكَبِّرُ، فَذَبَحَهُمَا بِيَدِهِ‏.‏
