Narrator:Anas ibn Mālik

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ اللَّهَ، تَعَالَى

تَابَعَ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَبْلَ وَفَاتِهِ حَتَّى تَوَفَّاهُ أَكْثَرَ مَا كَانَ الْوَحْىُ، ثُمَّ تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعْدُ‏.‏

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

Allah sent down His Divine Inspiration to His Apostle continuously and abundantly during the period preceding his death till He took him unto Him. That was the period of the greatest part of revelation; and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) died after that.

الْحَدِيث الّخَامِس : قَوْله : ( حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرو بْن مُحَمَّد ) هُوَ النَّاقِد , وَبِذَلِكَ جَزَمَ أَبُو نُعَيْم فِي " الْمُسْتَخْرَج ". وَكَذَا أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِم عَنْ عَمْرو بْن مُحَمَّد النَّاقِد وَغَيْره عَنْ يَعْقُوب بْن إِبْرَاهِيم. وَوَقَعَ فِي الْأَطْرَاف لِخَلَفٍ " حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرو بْن عَلِيّ الْفَلَّاسُ " وَرَأَيْت فِي نُسْخَة مُعْتَمَدَة مِنْ رِوَايَة النَّسَفِيّ عَنْ الْبُخَارِيّ " حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرو بْن خَالِد " وَأَظُنّهُ تَصْحِيفًا , وَالْأَوَّل هُوَ الْمُعْتَمَد , فَإِنَّ الثَّلَاثَة وَإِنْ كَانُوا مَعْرُوفِينَ مِنْ شُيُوخ الْبُخَارِيّ , لَكِنْ النَّاقِد أَخَصّ مِنْ غَيْره بِالرِّوَايَةِ عَنْ يَعْقُوب بْن إِبْرَاهِيم بْن سَعْد , وَرِوَايَة صَالِح بْن كَيْسَانَ عَنْ اِبْن شِ…

Anas b. Malik reported that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, sent revelation to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) just before his death in quick succession until he left for his heavenly home, and the day when he died, he received the revelation profusely.
