حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏

أَرْبَعٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ كَانَ مُنَافِقًا، أَوْ كَانَتْ فِيهِ خَصْلَةٌ مِنْ أَرْبَعَةٍ كَانَتْ فِيهِ خَصْلَةٌ مِنَ النِّفَاقِ، حَتَّى يَدَعَهَا إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ، وَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ، وَإِذَا عَاهَدَ غَدَرَ، وَإِذَا خَاصَمَ فَجَرَ ‏"

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever has (the following) four characters will be a hypocrite, and whoever has one of the following four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy until he gives it up. These are: (1 ) Whenever he talks, he tells a lie; (2) whenever he makes a promise, he breaks it; (3) whenever he makes a covenant he proves treacherous; (4) and whenever he quarrels, he behaves impudently in an evil insulting manner." النِّفاقُ هو إظهارُ المرءِ خِلافَ ما يُبطنُ، ويَنقسِمُ إلى نِفاقِ اعتقادٍ ونِفاقِ عَملٍ؛ أمَّا نِفاقُ الاعتقادِ فهو أنْ يُبطِنَ الإنسانُ الكُفرَ ويُظهِرَ الإسلامَ، وهذا صاحبُه مُخلَّدٌ في الدَّرْكِ الأسفلِ مِنَ النَّارِ ليس في عِداد الموحِّدِينَ، وأمَّا نِفاقُ العَملِ فصاحبُه مُوحِّدٌ غيرُ مُخلَّدٍ في النَّارِ.وفي هذا الحديثِ بَيَّن النبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ النِّفاقَ العمَليَّ، وذكَر فيه الخِصالَ المميِّزةَ له، فقال: أربعٌ مَن كُنَّ فيه كان منافِقًا خالِصًا، فيكون شَديدَ الشَّبَهِ بالمُنافقين بسبَبِ هذه الخِصالِ، ومَن وُجِد فيه بعضُها، كان لدَيه مِن النِّفاقِ بقَدْرِ ما وُجِدَ فيه منها، حتَّى يَترُكَ هذه الخِصالَ؛ فالخَصلةُ الأُولى: أنْ يَشتهِرَ بالخيانةِ بيْن النَّاس، والخَصلةُ الثَّانيةُ: أنْ يَشتهِرَ بالكذِبِ في الحديثِ، والخَصلةُ الثَّالثةُ: إذا عاهَدَ أحدًا غدَرَ به، ولم يَفِ بالعهدِ الَّذي عاهَدَه عليه، والخَصلةُ الرَّابعةُ: الفُجورُ في الخُصومةِ، والمرادُ بالفُجورِ أنْ يَخرُجَ عنِ الحقِّ عمْدًا، حتَّى يَصيرَ الحقُّ باطلًا، والباطلُ حقًّا. والمقصودُ مِن الحديثِ: أنَّ هذه الخِصالَ خِصالُ نِفاقٍ، وصاحبُها شَبيهٌ بالمُنافقين في هذه الخِصالِ، ومُتخلِّقٌ بأخلاقِهم، لا أنَّه مُنافقٌ يُظهِرُ الإسلامَ ويُبطِنُ الكُفرَ، فلم يُرِدِ النبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ بالنِّفاقِ المذكورِ في الحديثِ النِّفاقَ الَّذي صاحبُه في الدَّركِ الأسفلِ مِن النَّارِ، الَّذي هو أشدُّ الكفرِ، وإنَّما أراد أنَّها خِصالٌ تُشبِهُ معنى النِّفاقِ؛ لأنَّ النِّفاقَ أن يُظهِرَ المرءُ خِلافَ ما يُبطِنُ، وهذا المعنى مَوجودٌ في الكذِبِ، وخُلْفِ الوعدِ، والخِيانةِ، ومعنى قولِه: «كان مُنافِقًا خالصًا»، أي: خالِصًا في هذه الخِلالِ المذكورةِ في الحَديثِ فقطْ، لا في غيرِها.
