Narrator:Ā’ishah

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدٌ، قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم

عَنِ الْوِصَالِ، رَحْمَةً لَهُمْ

Narrated Aisha:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade Al-Wisal out of mercy to them. They said to him, "But you practice Al- Wisal?" He said, "I am not similar to you, for my Lord gives me food and drink. "

Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani — Fath al-Bari

قَوْلُهُ ( عَبْدَة ) هُوَ اِبْن سُلَيْمَان. قَوْله ( رَحْمَةً لَهُمْ ) فِيهِ إِشَارَةٌ إِلَى بَيَان السَّبَب أَيْضًا , وَيُؤَيِّد ذَلِكَ ذِكْرُ الْمَشَقَّة فِي الرِّوَايَة الَّتِي قَبْلهَا. قَوْله ( قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّه ) هُوَ الْمُصَنِّفُ ( لَمْ يَذْكُر عُثْمَانُ ) أَيْ اِبْن أَبِي شَيْبَة شَيْخَهُ فِي الْحَدِيث الْمَذْكُور قَوْله ( رَحْمَةً لَهُمْ ) فَدَلَّ عَلَى أَنَّهَا مِنْ رِوَايَة مُحَمَّد بْن سَلَام وَحْده , قَدْ أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِم عَنْ إِسْحَاق بْن رَاهْوَيْهِ وَعُثْمَان اِبْن أَبِي شَيْبَة جَمِيعًا وَفِيهِ " رَحْمَةً لَهُمْ " وَلَمْ يُبَيِّنْ أَنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ فِي رِوَايَة عُثْمَان. وَقَدْ أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى وَالْحَسَن اِبْن سُفْيَان فِي مُسْنَدِيهِمَا عَنْ عُثْمَان وَلَي…
