حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلاَّمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَدْ أُحْصِرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم

فَحَلَقَ رَأْسَهُ وَجَامَعَ نِسَاءَهُ، وَنَحَرَ هَدْيَهُ، حَتَّى اعْتَمَرَ عَامًا قَابِلاً‏.‏

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was prevented from performing (`Umra) Therefore, he shaved his head and had sexual relations with his wives and slaughtered his Hadi and performed Umra in the following year.

قَوْلُهُ( حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّد ) كَذَا فِي جَمِيع الرِّوَايَات غَيْر مَنْسُوب , فَجَزَمَ الْحَاكِم بِأَنَّهُ مُحَمَّد بْن يَحْيَى الذُّهْلِيُّ , وَأَبُو مَسْعُود بِأَنَّهُ مُحَمَّد بْن مُسْلِم بْن وَارَة , وَذَكَر الْكَلَابَاذِيّ عَنْ اِبْن أَبِي سَعِيد أَنَّهُ أَبُو حَاتِم مُحَمَّد بْن إِدْرِيس الرَّازِيّ , وَذَكَر أَنَّهُ رَآهُ فِي أَصْل عَتِيق , وَيُؤَيِّدهُ أَنَّ الْحَدِيث وُجِدَ مِنْ حَدِيثه عَنْ يَحْيَى بْن صَالِح الْمَذْكُور , كَذَلِكَ أَخْرَجَهُ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيّ وَأَبُو نُعَيْم فِي مُسْتَخْرَجَيْهِمَا مِنْ طَرِيق أَبِي حَاتِم , وَرِوَايَة الْبُخَارِيّ عَنْهُ فِي بَاب الذَّبْح فَإِنَّهُ رَوَى عَنْهُ الْبُخَارِيّ. قُلْت : وَيُحْتَمَل أَنْ يَكُون هُوَ مُحَمَّد بْن إِسْحَاق الصَّغَانِيّ…

Ibn ‘Abbas said that God’s messenger had been detained, so he had his head shaved, had intercourse with his wives, and sacrificed his animals. Then he performed the ’umra the following year. Bukhari transmitted it.
