حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، وَعَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُهْدِي مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ، فَأَفْتِلُ قَلاَئِدَ هَدْيِهِ، ثُمَّ لاَ يَجْتَنِبُ شَيْئًا مِمَّا يَجْتَنِبُهُ الْمُحْرِمُ‏.‏

Narrated `Aisha:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to send the Hadi from Medina and I used to twist the garlands for his Hadi and he did not keep away from any of these things which a Muhrim keeps away from.

Explanation in Arabic

حرَصَ الصَّحابةُ رَضيَ اللهُ عنهم كلَّ الحرصِ على مُوافَقةِ هَدْيِ النبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ في جَميعِ أقوالِه وأفعالِه، وكان يُراجِعُ بعضُهم بَعضًا في ذلك.

وفي هذا الحديثِ أخبَرَتْ عَمْرةُ بِنتُ عبدِ الرَّحمنِ أنَّ زِيادَ بنَ أبي سُفيانَ -وكان يُلقَّبُ زِيادَ بنَ أبيهِ- كَتَبَ إلى عائِشةَ رَضيَ اللهُ عنها: إنَّ عبْدَ اللهِ بنَ عبَّاسٍ رَضيَ اللهُ عنهما كان يُفتي بأنَّ مَن أَهْدى هدْيًا -مِن الإبلِ والبَقرِ، والغنَمِ والمَعْزِ- للبيتِ الحَرامِ، فبَعَثَ به لِيُذبَحَ في الحجِّ، ولكنَّه لم يَتلبَّسْ بالنُّسكِ ولم يُسافِرْ للحجِّ، بلْ بقِيَ في مَوطنِه؛ فإنَّه يَحرُمُ عليه ما يَحرُمُ على الحاجِّ، فلا يَقرَبُ الطِّيبَ ولا النِّساءَ، ولا غيرَ ذلك مِن مَحظوراتِ الإحرامِ، ويَظَلُّ على ذلك حتَّى يُنْحَرَ هَدْيُه. فلمَّا سَمِعَتْ أمُّ المؤمنينَ عائِشةُ رَضيَ اللهُ عنها فَتْوى ابنِ عبَّاسٍ رَضيَ اللهُ عنهما ردَّتْ هذه الفتْوى بأنَّها مُخالِفةٌ لِما فَعَلَه رَسولُ اللهِ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ؛ فقدْ كانتْ تَصنَعُ القلائدَ -وهي الأطواقُ- الَّتي كانت تُوضَعُ في رِقابِ هدْيِ النبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ التي كان سيُرسِلُها وهو غيرُ حاجٍّ وغيرُ مُتلبِّسٍ بالنُّسكِ، ثُمَّ وضَعَها النبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ بيَدِه الشَّريفةِ على الهدْيِ، وبعَثَ بها مع أبي بَكرٍ رَضيَ اللهُ عنه إلى الحجِّ سَنةَ تِسعٍ مِن الهِجرةِ لَمَّا حَجَّ بالناسِ، ولم يَلتزِمِ النبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ بما يَلتزِمْ به المُحرِمُ، ولم يَحرُمْ عليه شَيءٌ أحلَّه اللهُ لغيرِ المُحرِمِ بحَجٍّ أو عُمرةٍ.

وفي الحديثِ: مَشروعيَّةُ إرسالِ الهدْيِ إلى الحرَمِ ممَّن لم يَذهَبْ لأداءِ الحجِّ أو العُمرةِ.

وفيه: خِدمةُ الكَبيرِ نفْسَه، وإنْ كان له مَن يَكفيهِ.

وفيه: رَدُّ بَعضِ العُلماءِ على بَعضٍ.

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent the sacrificial animals from Medina. I wove garlands for his sacrificial animals (and then he hung them round their necks), and he would not avoid doing anything which the Muhrim avoids.

يُهْدِي مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَأَفْتِلُ قَلاَئِدَ هَدْيِهِ ثُمَّ لاَ يَجْتَنِبُ شَيْئًا مِمَّا يَجْتَنِبُ الْمُحْرِمُ ‏.‏

The Messenger of Allah (SWAS) would send the sacrificial animals as offerings (to Makkah) from Madinah. I would twist the garlands of the sacrificial animals ; thereafter he would not abstain from anything from which a pilgrim putting on Ihram abstains.

يُهْدِي مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَأَفْتِلُ قَلاَئِدَ هَدْيِهِ ثُمَّ لاَ يَجْتَنِبُ شَيْئًا مِمَّا يَجْتَنِبُ الْمُحْرِمُ ‏.‏

‘Aishah the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) said; “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to send the sacrificial animal from Al-Madinah, and I would twist the garlands for his sacrificial animal, then, he would not (because of that) avoid the things that the one in Ihram avoids.”

I often wove garlands for the sacrificial animals of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), and he garlanded his sacrificial animals, and then he sent them and stayed in the ouse) avoiding nothing which a Muhrim avoids.

فَتَلْتُ الْقَلاَئِدَ لِهَدْىِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَيُقَلِّدُ هَدْيَهُ ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُ بِهِ ثُمَّ يُقِيمُ لاَ يَجْتَنِبُ شَيْئًا مِمَّا يَجْتَنِبُ الْمُحْرِمُ ‏.‏

Authentic Sahih Muslim 1321g

I used to weave these garlands from the multicoloured wool which was with us. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was in the state of non Muhrim among us, and he would do all that was lawful for a lion-Muhrim with his wife.
