حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم

أَنَّهُ رُئِيَ وَهُوَ فِي مُعَرَّسٍ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ بِبَطْنِ الْوَادِي قِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّكَ بِبَطْحَاءَ مُبَارَكَةٍ

Narrated Musa bin `Uqba:

Salim bin `Abdullah's father said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) said that while resting in the bottom of the valley at Muarras in Dhul-Hulaifa, he had been addressed in a dream: 'You are verily in a blessed valley.' " Salim made us to dismount from our camels at the place where `Abdullah used to dismount, aiming at the place where Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had rested and it was below the Mosque situated in the middle of the valley in between them (the residence) and the road.

Reported by Al-Bukhari (No. 1535).

Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani — Fath al-Bari

قَوْله فِي حَدِيث اِبْن عُمَر ( أَنَّهُ أُرِيَ ) بِضَمِّ الْهَمْزَة أَيْ فِي الْمَنَام , وَفِي رِوَايَة كَرِيمَة " رُئِيَ " بِتَقْدِيمِ الرَّاء أَيْ رَآهُ غَيْره. قَوْله : ( وَهُوَ مُعَرَّس ) فِي رِوَايَة الْكُشْمِيهَنِيّ " فِي مُعَرَّس " بِالتَّنْوِينِ , وَقَوْله " بِبَطْنِ الْوَادِي " تَبَيَّنَ مِنْ حَدِيث اِبْن عُمَر الَّذِي قَبْله أَنَّهُ وَادِي الْعَقِيق. قَوْله : ( وَقَدْ أَنَاخَ بِنَا سَالِم ) هُوَ مَقُول مُوسَى بْن عُقْبَةَ الرَّاوِي عَنْهُ , وَقَوْله " يَتَوَخَّى " بِالْخَاءِ الْمُعْجَمَة أَيْ يَقْصِد , و " الْمُنَاخ " بِضَمِّ الْمِيم الْمَبْرَك. قَوْله : ( وَهُوَ أَسْفَل ) بِالنَّصْبِ وَيَجُوز الرَّفْع , وَالْمُرَاد بِالْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي كَانَ هُنَا فِي ذَلِكَ الزَّمَان. وَقَوْله "…
