Narrator:Abu Hurayrah

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏

لاَ تُقْبَلُ صَلاَةُ مَنْ أَحْدَثَ حَتَّى يَتَوَضَّأَ ‏"

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The prayer of a person who does Hadath (passes urine, stool or wind) is not accepted till he performs the ablution." A person from Hadaramout asked Abu Huraira, "What is 'Hadath'?" Abu Huraira replied, " 'Hadath' means the passing of wind."

Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani — Fath al-Bari

قَوْله : ( لَا تُقْبَل ) كَذَا فِي رِوَايَتنَا بِالضَّمِّ عَلَى الْبِنَاء لِمَا لَمْ يُسَمَّ فَاعِله , وَأَخْرَجَهُ الْمُصَنِّف فِي تَرْك الْحِيَل عَنْ إِسْحَاق بْن نَصْر , وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ أَحْمَد بْن حَنْبَل كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ عَبْد الرَّزَّاق بِلَفْظِ " لَا يَقْبَل اللَّه " وَالْمُرَاد بِالْقَبُولِ هُنَا مَا يُرَادِف الصِّحَّة وَهُوَ الْإِجْزَاء , وَحَقِيقَة الْقَبُول ثَمَرَة وُقُوع الطَّاعَة مُجْزِئَة رَافِعَة لِمَا فِي الذِّمَّة. وَلَمَّا كَانَ الْإِتْيَان بِشُرُوطِهَا مَظِنَّة الْإِجْزَاء الَّذِي الْقَبُول ثَمَرَته عَبَّرَ عَنْهُ بِالْقَبُولِ مَجَازًا , وَأَمَّا الْقَبُول الْمَنْفِيّ فِي مِثْل قَوْله صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَتَى عَرَّافًا لَمْ تُقْبَل لَهُ صَلَاة "…
