حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ النَّمَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْبَدْرِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏

لاَ تُجْزِئُ صَلاَةُ الرَّجُلِ حَتَّى يُقِيمَ ظَهْرَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ ‏"

Narrated AbuMas'ud al-Badri:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: A man's prayer does not avail him unless he keeps his back steady when bowing and prostrating.

Al-Azimabadi — Awn al-Ma'bud

( لَا تُجْزِئ صَلَاة الرَّجُل حَتَّى يُقِيم ظَهْره ) : قَالَ الْمُظْهِر أَيْ لَا تُجْزِئ صَلَاة مَنْ لَا يُسَوِّي ظَهْره ( فِي الرُّكُوع وَالسُّجُود ) : وَالْمُرَاد مِنْهُمَا الطُّمَأْنِينَة وَهِيَ وَاجِبَة عِنْد الشَّافِعِيّ وَأَحْمَد فِي الرُّكُوع وَالسُّجُود وَنَحْوهمَا , وَعِنْد أَبِي حَنِيفَة لَيْسَتْ بِوَاجِبَةٍ لِأَنَّ الطُّمَأْنِينَة أَمْر وَالِاعْتِدَال أَمْر , كَذَا ذَكَرَهُ الطِّيبِيُّ. قُلْت : الْحَدِيث حُجَّة عَلَى مَنْ لَمْ يَقُلْ بِوُجُوبِ الطُّمَأْنِينَة فِيهِمَا , وَسَيَأْتِي مَزِيد بَيَان فِي هَذَا حَدِيث أَبِي هُرَيْرَة الْآتِي. قَالَ الْمُنْذِرِيُّ : وَأَخْرَجَهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَابْن مَاجَهْ , وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيّ : حَدِيث حَسَن صَحِيح.…

Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari reported God’s Messenger as saying, “A man’s prayer does not avail him unless he keeps his back steady when bowing and prostrating himself.” Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa’i, Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it, and Tirmidhi said this is a hasan sahih tradition.
