حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ أَبُو غَسَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي حَرِيزٍ، أَنَّ عَامِرًا، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏"‏

إِنَّ الْخَمْرَ مِنَ الْعَصِيرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَالْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ وَالذُّرَةِ وَإِنِّي أَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْ كُلِّ مُسْكِرٍ ‏"

Narrated An-Nu'man ibn Bashir:

I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: Wine is made from grape-syrup, raisins, dried dates, wheat, barley, millet, and I forbid you from every intoxicant.

Al-Azimabadi — Awn al-Ma'bud

( إِنَّ الْخَمْر مِنْ الْعَصِير وَالزَّبِيب وَالتَّمْر وَالْحِنْطَة وَالشَّعِير وَالذُّرَة ) : بِضَمِّ الْمُعْجَمَة وَتَخْفِيف الرَّاء مِنْ الْحُبُوب مَعْرُوفَة. قَالَ الْمُنْذِرِيُّ : فِي إِسْنَاده أَبُو حَرِيز عَبْد اللَّه بْن الْحُسَيْن الْأَزْدِيّ الْكُوفِيّ قَاضِي سِجِسْتَان , وَثَّقَهُ يَحْيَى بْن مَعِين وَأَبُو زُرْعَة الرَّازِيّ , وَاسْتَشْهَدَ بِهِ الْبُخَارِيّ وَتَكَلَّمَ فِيهِ غَيْر وَاحِد. وَقَدْ أَخْرَجَ الْبُخَارِيّ وَمُسْلِم فِي الصَّحِيحَيْنِ أَنَّ عُمَر رَضِيَ اللَّه عَنْهُ خَطَبَ عَلَى مِنْبَر رَسُول اللَّه صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ " إِنَّهُ قَدْ نَزَلَ تَحْرِيم الْخَمْر وَهِيَ مِنْ خَمْسَة أَشْيَاء مِنْ الْعِنَب وَالتَّمْر وَالْحِنْطَة وَالشَّعِير وَالْعَسَ…

An-Nu‘man b. Bashir reported God’s Messenger as saying, “From wheat wine is made, from barley wine is made, from dried dates wine is made, from raisins wine is made, and from honey wine is made.” Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is a gharib tradition.

`Umar stood up on the pulpit and said, "Now then, prohibition of alcoholic drinks have been revealed, and these drinks are prepared from five things, i.e.. grapes, dates, honey, wheat or barley And an alcoholic drink is that, that disturbs the mind.

أَمَّا بَعْدُ نَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ وَهْىَ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ الْعِنَبِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَالْعَسَلِ وَالْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ، وَالْخَمْرُ مَا خَامَرَ الْعَقْلَ‏.‏

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: from grapes wine is made, from dried dates wine is made, from honey wine is made, from wheat wine is made, from barley wine is made.

إِنَّ مِنَ الْعِنَبِ خَمْرًا وَإِنَّ مِنَ التَّمْرِ خَمْرًا وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْعَسَلِ خَمْرًا وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْبُرِّ خَمْرًا وَإِنَّ مِنَ الشَّعِيرِ خَمْرًا ‏"
