Authentic Sahih al-Bukhari 6101 The Prophet (ﷺ) did something and allowed his people to do it, but some people refrained from doing it. When the Prophet (ﷺ) learned of that, he delivered a sermon, and after having sent Praises to Allah, he said, "What is wrong with such people as… مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يَتَنَزَّهُونَ عَنِ الشَّىْءِ أَصْنَعُهُ، فَوَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لأَعْلَمُهُمْ بِاللَّهِ وَأَشَدُّهُمْ لَهُ خَشْيَةً " Narrated by Ā’ishah + 3 other versions
Authentic Sunan Abu Dawud 2594 I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: Seek for me weak persons, for you are provided means of subsistence and helped through your weaklings. Abu Dawud said: Zaid b. Artat is the brother of 'Adi b. Artat. ابْغُونِي الضُّعَفَاءَ فَإِنَّمَا تُرْزَقُونَ وَتُنْصَرُونَ بِضُعَفَائِكُمْ " Narrated by Abu ad-Dardā’ + 3 other versions
