Ahmed Saeed Mandour

The Quran reader Ahmed Said Mandour is undoubtedly one of the most respected reciters, who has a beautiful heartfelt voice, and who coupled the healing of the body and the soul, as he is a doctor and a Quran reader, Imam and preacher.

Ahmed Bin Said Bin Mandour was born in the province of Damietta, exactly in the city of Al Sarou in Egypt. However, his primary and secondary studies were pursued in Al Manarat schools in the Medina, Saudi Arabia, and then he returned to his home town to continue his high school education there.

Sheikh Ahmed Said Mandour had a scientific educational base, as he decided to study medicine and he joined the faculty of medicine- Al Qasr Al Aini- in the college of Cairo in order to do so. Also, he obtained a masters degree in Gastroenterology.
And because the process of healing is the healing of the body and the soul, according to the Almighty Allah’s saying: “And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss”, Sheikh Ahmed Said Mandour dedicated his time to couple his studies in the medicinal field with the studies of the holy Quran, its rules and its readings.

Following his graduation, Sheikh Ahmed Said Mandour was appointed as a doctor of gastrointestinal diseases and liver diseases at Cairo Fatimid Hospital in Darsa, Cairo, in addition to taking the Imamate of the Muslims in many mosques including Al Manawi’s mosque, and Al Mitwali’s mosque in Al Sarou city, and Al Tawba mosque, Al Istikama mosque and the University of the Arabic countries mosques in the city of Giza.
