Biography of Sami Yusuf

 

Sami Yusuf is a British singer and songwriter. He was born in Tehran (Iran) to Azeri Muslim parents in July 1980 and grew up in London.

Sami Yusuf made his singing debut with a successful album “Al Muaalim”, released in 2003, which earned much fame because of its religious-themed songs. The album was sold 1 million copies and singles “Al Muaalim” and “Supplication” were aired in rotation on many Arab TV Channels.

Two years later, Sami was back with “My Ummah” released on September 2005, just a few days before Ramadan. Singles “Hasbi Rabbi”, “Mother” and “Munajat” met great success among Muslim countries and established Sami Yusuf as one of the most esteemed artists of Arab world.

Only 28 years-old, Sami Yusuf achieved a great fame and built a huge fan base from all over the world.

      I think you have achieved your goals, very nice and lovely easy way to spread Islam all around the world. I love the way you are try to explain about Islam message.
